Welcome to my website. My name is Janet Pickard, I am a NGH Board certified 5-path Hypnotherapist and 7th PATH Self Hypnosis Teacher.Whatever difficulties you are currently experiencing, I believe, as a Hypnotherapist, I can help you to overcome them and take the necessary steps to improving your life.
My background career before hypnotherapy had initally been with youth services in youth clubs in Huddersfield.I was also employed by the education Department at a residetial special school were I worked with children who had behaviour problems and who were unable to live at home.In 1990 I became a qualified child protection social worker and was employed by Oldham social services until I retired in 2002. Although this work was often stressful and very demanding, it was also extreamly fulfilling and rewarding.

I chose hypnotherapy having seen first hand just how beneficial hypnotherapy had been for some of my Social Work clients, especially those that had suffered abuse and neglect. Being a Hypnotherapist has allowed me to bring all the skills and knowledge that I have accumulated over my working life into helping others in the Huddersfield and Halifax areas of West Yorkshire.
