My Experience
My background career before hypnosis was in Child Protection Social Work. Although I enjoyed this work and found it very rewarding, it was often demanding and stressful. After 20 years in Social work I felt I needed a change.
I chose Hypnotherapy after seeing just how beneficial hypnosis had been for many of my social work clients who had suffered abuse and neglect. Choosing hypnotherapy allowed me to bring all the skills and knowledge that I had gained as a social worker into my own hypnotherapy practice.
Initially I did my training with The Northern College of Hypnosis in Leeds, UK. Next, I felt that I needed more advanced training and after a great deal of researching I discovered The Banyan Hypnosis Centre in California US. The founder of this centre is Calvin Banyan who is one of the leading hypnosis trainers in the world.
Cal Banyan also founded 5-Path® Hypnotherapy which is a universal, systematic approach and 7th Path® Self Hypnosis which is a unique, mind, body, spirit approach which guides you into a deep transformational meditation. Click here for more information
