Frequently Asked Questions
What does hypnosis feel like?Contrarily to some beliefs, hypnosis is not sleep, it’s an altered state of awareness in which you feel mentally and physically relaxed and wide open to suggestibility.
In this state you are aware of what is going on around you.
In this state you are able to think and be in touch with your subconscious mind and this is how you are able to make the changes you want to make.
Is Hypnosis Safe?
Hypnosis is a perfectly, natural state of mind which humans go in and out of every day. No one has ever got stuck in hypnosis. The hypnotist cannot control your mind, You are always in control during a session and at any time you can emerge.
Are there any side affects?
Only nice ones, all hypnosis is self hypnosis and any suggestions made by your hypnotherapist or yourself when doing self hypnosis will always be for your benefit, like changing unwanted habits and behaviours, improving your health, well being and your life style.
How long are the sessions?
This can vary, but usually each session will take from 1 to 2 hrs. The initial session will probably take about 45 minutes.
Remember though, the 5-Path® is a systematic approach and to get the full benefit from this powerful technique you will need to book 4 to 5 sessions.
